Azaleea and Chris Engagement

I'm so excited to finally be blogging about this!!! It only took me a short ya know...3 months HAHA but as I like to say, better late than never. Am I right or am I right? :D

ANYWAYS - This proposal was a long time coming. I remember back in January, my brother started sending me and our other brother, Mike, engagement ring designs. He did all the hard work and research but we got to give our input on the diamond and design which was so much fun and such a memorable experience. It was the sweetest thing, she had showed him a ring designer on Instagram, he remembered, and worked with them to help create her dream ring. He worked Lauren B. Fine Jewelry & Diamonds NYC. and they knocked it out of the park y'all! Droll worthy, you'll see below.

We met the day before to scout out the location, figure out where I was going to hide (I ended up behind a tree), and set our plan of attack. Was literally meant to be because the path he took her on was Azalea way, not the exact same spelling but close enough. It was stunning, turned out perfect, and I can't wait for the wedding!

Snoqualmie Pass Engagement

The lush greenery and snow capped mountain tops of Snoqualmie Pass made for a beautiful backdrop during Jennifer and Matts engagement session. I say it all the time but we seriously love in a beautiful state. I'm pretty sure I was drooling during this session because the setting and couple were STUNNING!

Evan + Marissa

If you know me, then you are probably familiar with Evan + Marissa. For those of you who don't, Evan + Marissa are two of my husband and I's best friends. We met them in college during our time at PLU.

Fast forward a few years to December 2016. Evan was diagnosed with cancer and it rocked all of our worlds. Marissa has been his rock through this all. These two have the type of love story that you read about in books. Unconditional and unwavering. They serve as an inspiration to us all.

He has been such a trooper the entire time - in fact, he had just underwent some major surgery shortly before this shoot but still managed to rock it. I mean seriously, once you see these pictures you'll understand. I'm so excited you two have a wedding date and can't wait to be standing by your side on your wedding day!!

Alex + Rachel

I met Rachel through the stylized shoots I did with Ella Ever After Weddings - she did the makeup for all the brides and they looked stunning. You can view those pictures here, here, and here!

She saw the way I worked with the couples and my end results and decided to book me for her and her fiances engagement photos and I couldn't have been more excited. The weather was AMAZING this day, like really hot, so mid-session we stopped for Molly Moons Ice Cream which probably led to some of my favorite photos to date. Holly + Marco

I met Holly during my time at PLU and grew to love her and Marco's story. They have been together since highschool and have two beautiful daughters together! The stars have aligned and they will now be having the wedding of their dreams. When we first started talking about shoot locations she had mentioned that her and Marco had met on a farm. I had been wanting to shoot at Ft Steilacoom park for a while and knew this would be the perfect location for them. We were all amazed at the beauty of this park and multiple times found ourselves saying. "wow! it doesn't even feel like we are in Tacoma."
