Josh + Kayla - A Private Estate Wedding

Josh, Kayla, and their wedding party were such a dream to work with. 

These two are proof that great relationships begin with friendships. Josh + Kayla met when they were adolescents, and when Josh was 5 years old he told his mom he was going to marry her....CRAZY RIGHT?! It's like a real life love novel! Not only do they have an amazing love story, but they also have a fantastic group of friends. This was hands down one of the most fun wedding parties I have ever worked with, they helped make the day that much more enjoyable. 

Josh + Kayla, thank you for allowing me to photograph your day alongside with Jan! I wish you two nothing but the best and can't wait to see where your life takes you!

Taryn + Alec, thanks for venturing through open fields of tall grass and for standing in the freezing cold water for me. Your session did not disappoint!

Evan + Marissa

If you know me, then you are probably familiar with Evan + Marissa. For those of you who don't, Evan + Marissa are two of my husband and I's best friends. We met them in college during our time at PLU.

Fast forward a few years to December 2016. Evan was diagnosed with cancer and it rocked all of our worlds. Marissa has been his rock through this all. These two have the type of love story that you read about in books. Unconditional and unwavering. They serve as an inspiration to us all.

He has been such a trooper the entire time - in fact, he had just underwent some major surgery shortly before this shoot but still managed to rock it. I mean seriously, once you see these pictures you'll understand. I'm so excited you two have a wedding date and can't wait to be standing by your side on your wedding day!!

Alex + Rachel

I met Rachel through the stylized shoots I did with Ella Ever After Weddings - she did the makeup for all the brides and they looked stunning. You can view those pictures here, here, and here! 

She saw the way I worked with the couples and my end results and decided to book me for her and her fiances engagement photos and I couldn't have been more excited. The weather was AMAZING this day, like really hot, so mid-session we stopped for Molly Moons Ice Cream which probably led to some of my favorite photos to date. Bri + Kelvin

I have been wanting to take pictures of Bri and Kelvin ever since I first met them. They are two people who are madly in love, are always down for a good time, and know how to make anyone laugh. I knew that pictures with them would be magical, and let me tell ya...they were! Check them out and you'll see why!

The Bothell Family

In true Washington fashion, the weather was crazy during this shoot. When I arrived to the location, it was blue skies and sunshine. Once the Bothell family arrived it could NOT be pouring down more. I'm not sure what it is, but something magical always happens with the weather during a shoot. We waited for a little bit and boom! Rain stopped and we were able to squeeze in a few photos before it started to rain again. Thanks for hangin in there with me Bothell fam <3

Holly + Marco

I met Holly during my time at PLU and grew to love her and Marco's story. They have been together since highschool and have two beautiful daughters together! The stars have aligned and they will now be having the wedding of their dreams. When we first started talking about shoot locations she had mentioned that her and Marco had met on a farm. I had been wanting to shoot at Ft Steilacoom park for a while and knew this would be the perfect location for them. We were all amazed at the beauty of this park and multiple times found ourselves saying. "wow! it doesn't even feel like we are in Tacoma."

The Larson Sisters

This past weekend I was able to take photos of 2 out of the 3 Larson sisters! Lauren graduated in December of 2016 from Pacific Lutheran University and her sister Sydney will soon be graduating and attending PLU in the fall. Lauren played on the women's soccer team all four years and her sister will be playing on the team as well, I sense a pattern here :D The weather was awesome and these two are just as awesome!  We got some great photos that I just adore and hope you all do as well!

Styled Bridal Shoot pt.3

Now for the final styled shoot. Chris + Katrina. How fitting that the sun decided to come out and play for this beach themed photo shoot. I loved all the other sets, but I'm definitely a beach girl so for me... this one takes the cake - or macaroons in this case! I'm also slightly biased because the colors used for this were similar to the ones Nick and I had.

These two may have just been playing a married couple but boy did the kill it! Enjoy!
