Everyones life changed once COVID hit. I just so happened to be in a state that wasn’t my home when all hell broke loose. It had been a crazy year so I made the impulsive decision to stay a while and see where life took me.

Being in a new city in the midst of a pandemic was lonely, and honestly I was desperate to shoot and meet some new people. Thanks the the power of The Morning Toast Podcast group, I was able to link up with this babe and her boo.

We had Ohio Beach all ourselves and golden hour and ended the session playing around on the infamous Navy Pier.

Rialto Beach // Wedding Styled Shoot

Washington coast beachy vibes for this styled shoot. Crystal of The Fancy Cat Studio outdid herself once again with the MOST BEAUTIFUL water color invitation suite. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it time and time again she is a straight wizard and I recommend everyone work with her.

In classic Seattle style, it rained the entire time we shot but the hair and makeup Jessica from Beauty by Jessica Recchio did held up the entire time and had model Azaleea looking beautiful as always

As we prepair to say goodbye to fall and hello to winter, we headed to Discovery Park to take advantage of the last bits of fall. I always love this park because it has so many different settings within one location - it really adds variety to the shoot and that’s something I always love being able to offer my clients!

For this shoot, I got to work with so many of my favorite things. A beautiful dress from Lulus, an online shop whose dresses always make my photography dreams come true. Invitation suites from Crystal, the woman is a genius. I literally send her the crazy ideas I have in my head and she magically creates EXACTLY what I was thinking, I don't know how she does it. Friends,  one of my girlfriends was wanting to get into officiating and I already had this styled shoot planned so we used it as an opportunity for her to practice with no pressure. And even more friends, Bri and Kelvin are always so fun to work with and I go into the shoot knowing I'll get exactly what I was looking for because they're literally up for anything and I did!

I love Gold Creek and everything about this shoot and hope you do too.

Since basically forever, I've been trying to convince these two to let me take photos of them because they're so dang cute and I just knew they would turn out well. Tall, fit, good looking, I mean it wasn't hard to make them look good hahah. I'd like to take submit these photos into evidence for when people try to tell me I'm wrong HAHA. Kidding...kind of (:

Washington Park Arboretum // Azaleea and Chris Engagement

I'm so excited to finally be blogging about this!!! It only took me a short ya know...3 months HAHA but as I like to say, better late than never. Am I right or am I right? :D

ANYWAYS - This proposal was a long time coming. I remember back in January, my brother started sending me and our other brother, Mike, engagement ring designs. He did all the hard work and research but we got to give our input on the diamond and design which was so much fun and such a memorable experience. It was the sweetest thing, she had showed him a ring designer on Instagram, he remembered, and worked with them to help create her dream ring. He worked Lauren B. Fine Jewelry & Diamonds NYC. and they knocked it out of the park y'all! Droll worthy, you'll see below.

We met the day before to scout out the location, figure out where I was going to hide (I ended up behind a tree), and set our plan of attack. Was literally meant to be because the path he took her on was Azalea way, not the exact same spelling but close enough. It was stunning, turned out perfect, and I can't wait for the wedding!
